I like the idea of a let's play series, and maybe it could be informative along the journey so we can learn more about all phases of Ark from beginning to end game. I think this would also be a good way around the YouTube algorithm issue with changing games/content because then you could just transition to other games through the "let's play" format.
I hope they keep ARK 1 supported for at least a few years. Even simple bug fixes and upkeep would be good enough. I'm worried wildcard will put everything in to ARK 2 and it will be unpopular, but I hope my concerns are proven wrong. Transitioning to another game can be difficult but it isn't impossible. I hope you can find success with how this next year plays out!

I find the strongest aspects of your channel to be factual and concise breakdowns of Ark mechanics. So many others have rushed stuff out and been plain wrong on bits and pieces here and there, you seem to hit the mark every time. Interviews and discussions with other people in the community might be more in this channel's style. There's dozens of Ark let's plays around, and the only thing that would differentiate yours from the crowd would be that you actually know what you're doing.
As for Ark 2's release; I'm going to remain pessimistic and say June 2025 for the 10th Anniversary. Prove me wrong Wildcard.
As a newbie to Ark, a let's play would be awesome, since I'm not sure of the progression like I am with other survival games. (And there's an absolute crapload of content, so it's a bit daunting, especially as one who wants to experience the story.)
I'll be honest. I'm not excited for Ark 2 at all. From what I've heard the sequel sounds like mixture of Vin Diesel, Dark Souls combat, dinosaurs and the camp building of Fallout 76. Also they are removing first person from the game. I wish that Wildcard would release more information. At the moment I'm not interested at all.

We can always kick back and just enjoy the game – and dinos – for another year! I'm not looking forward to ark 2 anyway, so it's easy for me.

WC needs to include all of the event assets for the core and let those who run servers continue events. ARK I is in our hands , and the modders now.
I would totally watch your let's play series. I currently watching another youtuber do Aberration from about 4 years ago.
