I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I’m not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it’s great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that’s what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Being on console feels so sad now 😔
So wait they will shut down ark 1? I've worked on my base for a year and just bought the dlcs, id be very upset if that was all just wiped. Would not encourage me to play ark 2 but just stop playing.
Fingers crossed that Wildcard releases some actual, juicy Ark 2 gameplay footage. Hopefully not a "vertical slice" b-roll or a CG trailer like the first, but a proper, true representation of what we're going to see at retail. One can hope.
The new Ark 1 Map announcements make sense imo. Let's be real: Even if Ark 2 came out today it would be atleast another year before it would be properly playable. They will have to release some Ark 1 maps in between to keep people happy/ engaged.
Apart from that I also think that there is a pretty simple margin gain on markets like Asia, and other places that might not have acces to the latest hardware, to keep Ark 1 running since it is definitly a game that gives playes a lot of "bang for their buck". It's one of those games that offers potentially thousands of hours of gameplay without a sub fee or so.
I'm already at the point of just loading in once or twice a week to load, feed and any minor quick tasks. Knowing Ark 1 is now a dying game, I almost don't care to log in anymore. Sucks be uae it's years of work down the drain.

I really hope that ARK 1 is gonna stay for many many years. We won't have events, which is really sad, but hopefully they won't shut it down for at least several years. But why would they? ARK hast already such a big community, it just would be a waste to shut the Game down just because of a sequel. But I mostly hope that it stays, because I couldn't Play all the maps yet, so I want to do it, no matter what.

They need to end all official support for Ark 1 before Ark 2 release. The money used to maintain the old broken official servers could be used to fund development and fixes for Ark 2 when it launches.

I know that ark 2 is coming and that the developers they ending ark 1 but really what made wildcard change his mind of stopping content from ark 1 right in the middle of the year of 2022 instead waiting until 2 months before coming 2023 but well the developers decided that so am not gonna be complaining about their decisions
