I've played several thousand hours of Ark by now and watched every one of your videos back in the day and had a great time 😁.
Seeing you rediscover it struck a nerve and brought tears to my eyes.
Life feels kinda full circle in this sense where i remember bein like 12 and watchin all the way through is old reign of kinds series and the poppin on his first vid on Ark and instantly bein sucked in.
Still have grass and shit coming through the floor… God damnit

Lystrosaurus is a stem mammal. Not a dinosaur. But it is a "puppy" of sorts. 😀 So far it seems like animals are spaced out compared to the first game. That was a personal issue for me in the first game. Especially early on where everything collected on the beaches. Also I much prefer the more primitive side to ARK. When I get to the metal age it kinda loses me.
God this looks amazing. Can't wait to watch more! Especially since it will be a while before I could check out ASA myself. Also, I prefer first person but 3rd is good too for some things

You mentioned it would look blurry due to YouTube's post processing, that ain't it. You might want to tweak your OBS settings because it says you uploaded the video in 1440p but something must be messed up in either your OBS or rendering software cuz it looks 720p-ish
Game has some day one issues but boy does it look and play well!
