They need to get on releasing some form of information or look at the game in general to know that there's something on the table I wouldn't be surprised if they had nothing to show and haven't even started working on it a boy can dream that there's something in store for us before 2022 ends
Ark dlcs kinda went downhill for me after aberration it just felt like the actual maps got less interesting I felt immersed in the island scorched and abberation new challenges etc just my opinion but I feel like they should've kept in the direction of making new worlds like genesis could've been an actual space map with alien creatures etc extinction was the first step overteking ark still I love this game but nothing really compares too the first three maps for me they're just all so unique and interesting
In ark 2 the ability to fly dinos should be locked until a high level imo
I really hope we get really good dinosaur designs I really hope they not just going to trow the old dinos wondering what new dinos we will get
I am not an ARK fan, but from the demos I have seen of Unreal Engine 5, most projects using the new engine are going to have tons more capability in their projects as well as better performance. You know, ID Tech used to be the go to for games now it is Unreal, and Epic has really taken the technology to a new level. Even indie developers can take advantage of the new tech which is amazing really when you look at the capability of the technology. If handled right, the new games should look great and perform great with the new tech.
I'm excited for ark 2 but also not. Current game still looks like crap and even until today the textures on lost island dissappear all the time so much so that you can't tell your dino's head from their ass.
