  5. I play Ark with my friends. So, are they saying we'd have to buy the game again? My friend hosts his own server we play on. It sounds like that might still run after the change but who knows.

  6. And to think I once sunk 1000+ hours into this game when it was still new and exciting, hell even hosted my own modded server and all!

    But the game quality never improved, poor optimization, low quality content… the game was plagued with bugs and jankiness, it overwhelmed me, so I stopped playing it… I really wanted to like this game but the company behind it is too greedy and unskilled (seems those aspects haven't changed after that long huh)😑

    Sad to see it never improved, otherwise I would have probably bought the "new and improved" ARK. 🤔

  7. Thanks Ed for covering this. This is crap I been a ark survivor for literally 5 years and I am not upgrading to a PS5 any time soon. I just don't understand why the gotta mess with the servers.

A lot of the reasons they are sunsetting the servers is a load of rubbish we don't want to put in the effort of managing older versions of the game so we are killing the servers also the fact that the first game was terrible because again files were not compressed they better compress the files because if they don't they will not get as many sales as they think they would

    Lol. It’s basically same as saying WOW is a monster tamer game because WOW have mounts and hunters have their pets. (Although wow kinda have proper monster taming minigame with small pets)

  12. So it's the same exact game, remastered, on a newer, cooler, game engine, previously already offered for free, and now they backpedal and put it up for FULL PRICE??? How TF does that make sense?
    At MOST it should be half price, since it's the same exact game, but to offer it for free and then backpedal and have the audacity to set it at FULL PRICE, is a level of moronic I haven't seen a development studio achieve. I am willing to bet my life on the fact that when the game comes out, it will have the same exact animations, control schemes, creatures, environment, and gameplay, with better textures, lighting, and less stutter. That's it, and they want full price? Jeezus…
