In the 60s/70s Filmation studios was a famed American production company that made Saturday morning kids shows like The New Adventures of Superman (animated), Aquaman (animated), Fantastic Voyage (animated), Star Trek (animated), Shazam! (live action), The Secrets of Isis (live action), Space Academy (live action), Jason of Star Command (live action) – and ARK II (live action).
Nearly all these shows were in enjoyed in my 70s youth but Shazam! (1974) and Ark II (1976) have also managed to be entertaining in the current century we live in. This video is a tribute to that long lasting appeal.
