  1. Not being able to have the option of first person is a big downgrade for me. I liked to have the freedom of using first person, which I always did when I wasn't on a mount. Besides, ARK was at It's best when you played it on first person, making it more fun and immersive. I guess this is the new era of ARK, that will probably have a lot of conflicts transferring original players to the sequel as it will be a different game than people possibly wanted to experience.

  2. They just saw Elden ring and wanted some of that bandwagon.. 3rd person, tab targeting, console-kiddie cooldowns, parkour. The description just reads as console marketing bingo. If they dont change it drastically to be more in line with what PC players want, it will be a flop. Do they really think its console players sat on their sofas modding Ark 1 ? No PC modder will invest significant time into a project that is simply inferior to the previous title. What a shame

  3. Souls like combat is Wayyyyyyyy better than ark 1 gameplay,

Ark 1 gameplay is just spamming gameplay without EVEN SINGLE ACTUAL MOVEMENT

this is only community in my entire life I've ever seen, say spamming game is better than Souls like.

You should have read entire (a message from the founders)
This is important part, and it mentioned in there that combat is focusing on primitive era and how dino fighting is working in there

  4. I only play 1st person games… as a day 1 (almost) Ark player I cannot express my disappointment with this 3rd person rubbish.
    Sod the combos as well.
We just wanted an Ark without the bugs Wildcard… don't you get it?
Personally I was just looking forward to the upgraded visuals. But I won't be buying this arcade crap.
I'll put money on it being a total flop within a few months.
Way to lose your loyal fanbase, didn't you learn anything from Battlefield?
