Yeah, so 1st is so immersive, because I walk around all day with 30% of my view blocked out at the sides and top. My vision is 100% rectangular.
man the more i read this the more im like phoo i want this game to be better then ark1 but i also am afraid that my pc wont handle it hopefully whenever the game launches weather its is in 2023 or longer i hope it comes out with not to many issues as seen from any ea games from the sound of it devs are excited about this just as much as we are

I really hope they change the third person only to optional. 🙁 I also don't really like the dark souls like combat – never had experience with it myself but I generally don't like that style of games

I am seriously going to have to consider either moving from ps4 to next gen Xbox or just biting the bullet and trying to get a gaming pc lol
Can't wait for this…. I was about 4 years late to the party with Ark. I'm only a single player but I have 900 hours in it, I'm just gonna have to upgrade my PC in the next year, my 3GB video card n 8GB ram might not cut it haha.
I wish I could get hyped for this, but when you hire a big movie star for a video game, make massive claims, and push back your game early….. You sometimes get Cyberpunk.
I have one golden rule for ark. Dont have high hopes so you will not be dissapoonted so much. If this release in 2023 it will be pin in butt for another year just like ark 1
bit worried about the "player reflex skill" aspect. What I like best about ARK is that you plan ahead, arrive with the right equipment and strategy and dont really need reflex skills to succeed. Hopefully this remains the case (at least to some extent) in the new version.

Yeah… I might not play this one. It's the Souls-Borne style gameplay that kills it for me. I despise those games.

One problem I know most of the older hardware players can point out is that the crashes are excessive for Ark 1 and has always been. I believe it's an engine issue. Hopefully with this new engine they have a better foundation to work off of to fix those issues. I myself, just want a good game. If they rush the fundamentals, they will never be able to patch them.
I only have one minor disappointment, it sounds like Ark 1 won't be getting mod support on console. It is amazing that Ark 2 will have it but as a PS4 player who won't be able to play for likely close to 2 more years it is sad that we won't have mods available to keep us busy in the mean time. Aside from that super hyped about EVERYTHING that is coming.
