No one wants Ark 2 we just want Ark for life just keep Ark going for decades with new updates/maps
They completely shit the bed on the Ext/winterwonderland event and completely killed my hype. Worse launch in the 9yrs of the game and I've been there for it all. They really have no idea how to build or keep a community.

Bro… MAPPA is top tier animation. Big deal for the visuals. Writing and the story are a whole other convo but it will definitely look amazing.
Pretty sure they just took the idea from the community and made it a reality because they knew people would latch on to it and be extra hyped because they thought they knew something.

If ASA had been a free upgrade, they would have had some kind of hype for Ark 2. As it is, people are still playing ASE. They may not need to see a reason for them to shell out even more money for another Ark game so soon.

They've been doing the same sort of bs since they started. I also really wanted the game to succeed but I've since learned. I think it's been, a decade of playing? and my expectations are down 6ft under. And they should stay there. Because as soon as you hope or get those expectations up higher, they'll find a new way to disappoint. Also I'm pretty sure Snail games is siphoning off any money they make into other projects that will flop like all the others. It's … really sad.
Kinda pissed we got Extinction before Ragnarok. They were supposed to be releasing them in order but I guess that was another lie.
I read that ark 2 was delayed to 2025 (2023 at the time) and the devs said “no no no that’s a mistake it’s coming 2024” and now it’s 2026 …

honestly I can here that you love the game despite not being a OG, My view on the Ararat prime map is it makes sense to add it before genesis seeing as it bridges the gap in the story. releasing it after gen 2 could work but if its supposed to take place before gen 1 it helps narratively I guess. I'm currently playing through all the maps chronologically trying to follow the story and have been having a great time. ASE I just looked to play on the nicest looking map with he most bio diversity so eventually just fijhorder, but now I get to play through all the maps and see what I missed out on so even with the map delays it gives me a solid time to progress through the maps. but this is just my experience with ASA. hope you have a Lovely Christmas man and looking forward to more of your videos.
At this rate, HalfLife III and ElderScrolls 6 will release before Ark2.
I think I'll reinstall ASE soon for old times sake. At least there won't be any more updates that re-downloads the entire freaking game on steam each and every time. And no P2W shit either.
I mean MAPPA animations will be pretty cool, but like I can just watch those online, not much hope for the map/gameplay itself
