2nd I’d gladly pay again for an updated 7DTD. I’ve played this on console since release and can’t wait to play A20 but I do feel like it will be a separate game and not just an updated console version
I love how Snail Games' actions are making studio Wild Card as well as other games under Snail Games' publishing banner is being thrown under the rug for their stocks. H.O.D. made a good video on it explaining it in further detail.
But, it got me thinking, maybe all Ark-Tubers should unite and speak out against them, Snail Games is screwing other games like Last Oasis and Atlas too.
Heck, more awareness surrounding how publishers/shareholders/investors interfere and ruin gaming would be amazing.. could help create more protections in the industry barring further "EA" like tactics from further tarnishing the medium as a whole.
But if you rely solely on game pass you’ll pay way more but it is a pretty bad business model right? I feel I’m not wrong entirely though because I myself don’t plan on playing ark 2 much if any it really just all depends on the game itself but I’ve played ark for years and I bought the dlc’s for it so having to buy the base game again especially in today’s economy. Life’s not cheap so to be honest they are starting to be like all the other developers and tend to lean more towards the money aspect instead of the customers so I probably won’t upgrade and will stop playing by that time
I play Conan exiles which is superior to ark even though it has problems in my opinion of course
Also who cares about graphics we should care more about quality gameplay and performance once the game runs well then make it pretty
I see a lot of people saying unofficial ARK 1 will be untouched. Nobody is going to run the old servers and the new servers at the same time with so many returning players getting the new version. So that is a wipe for you as well.
The only thing I'm glad about ark survival ascenison is it will be on gamepass and cross play, so I don't have to buy a new gen console, but I'm really really annoyed that I had to spend around $200 CA for the game and all of its passes, and I can't afford that again as a broke student who cannont to get a job due to where I live, I amannoyed at the fact I wasted my money (even if I spent it years ago). Official servers going down is really fucking sad because all the memories, and the fact the server we're playing on is official will be go. Also to put this out there people have spent literal 10000 hours on one official server and that will all be thanos snapped away. For our server, I'm playing on it rn and, to think everything will be gone really hurts the motivation you gave to me to play this game again. Also don't expect any release date from wild card unless its 100% confirm its that date since they have a really bad history of failing at deadlines. Thats just my opinion though lol

i think its flat out done UNTIL Alpha 21 comes out (the golden day ) stable version for PC and Console versions. (and it'll probably be released as the same for newer generation systems)
Listen I know it's taboo but the Xbox s (streaming one) is actually bonkers fast. Sure you give up being able to run discs and what not but I haven't physically bought a copy of a game since evolved. Not including switch games
