The fact that we haven't seen actual gameplay footage told me that we are nowhere near to a release date.
And yeah, making it third person only was a huge mistake they have to fix.
Also, I have ZERO desire to play as Santiago. I HATE survival games that make me play as some pre-made character. Screw all that. I want to create my own character who acts the way I want him to act.
At this point it sounds to me like Ark 2 is going to be a bootleg Monster Hunter.
