I mean why get upset at taking more time to make a game great? At least with this it shouldn't come out like scarlet and violet did, which while fun, has severe issues for sure. Extra time actually means a better game (usually) after all.
The switch version for Ark was fixed months ago it runs much better now
You know something is wrong when they don’t show gameplay of the game this year. And my pc couldn’t run the original non remastered Ark.
Well this situation is really messy I can defiantly understand the frustration of not having the dlc expansions carry over. The very least offer a discount for the people who already bought them
The only ark game I'm waiting for is palworld.
I find it a slap in the face when I saw ark 2 announced since ark 1 is still so unoptimized on the both Xbox One and PC even in 2023 (even though i haven't touched the xbox version in years). Hopefully Ark Survival Ascended is more well optimized.

MP3onsters is the upcoming open-world RPG that was made by unknown developer (probably Team Liberty) in New York
the next gen ark ascended and ark 2 I hope the devs learned from their mistakes from the first game being compress the files because the first original game had uncompressed files and I heard they said that if they compressed the files to make it a lot more respectable for pc hard drive space they said they didn't want to lower the quality as if compressing the files actually lowers the quality like look at GTA V great game and looks amazing even though the files are so heavily compressed so the ark devs should look and understand how compressing file size doesn't actually effect quality
I have a lot to say about this. I have 2000+ hours in Ark and I have been playing since the early access. I'll start by pointing out that Ark 2 was scheduled to release in 2022 and the release was ambiguously pushed to 2023 mere months before their deadline. Ark devs have never met one of their release dates. I'm more mad that they've been defending the 2023 release for this long when all they've revealed about the new game is concept art. Long-time Ark fans knew the game couldn't come out in 2023 based purely on the fact that the devs said it would. I am warning everyone who is interested in this game; it will not come out late 2024. The devs are cursed, or just idiots. If something does come out just before 2025 it will be an early access money grabbing scam. Few people seem to remember that Ark's first paid DLC came out before Ark left early access. These devs will do anything they can to hype up unfinished content and squeeze a dollar out of you.

If you're in the ark community you're not mad or surprised, this is not the first delay and more likely than not won't be the last lol Ive stopped waiting for it to come out any time soon, it comes when it comes at this point and hopefully it's as good as they hype it up to be 🤷 also I don't get why people are mad about having to buy a full engine upgrade that includes new features for a 7 year old game like I've more than got the value out of my 25 bucks I paid for ark way back when. Also like how many versions of Skyrim do a lot of gamers? At least ark is actually providing worthwhile updates with their new version
So…the sequel to a game thats development was properly borked, with an extended early access that still released with major gamebreaking bugs, from a developer who released community splitting paid DLC before launch, is having problems with their sequel… Surprised pikachu face

Ark was and still is one of the worst games I have ever played, complete and utter crap.
I cant believe a 2nd was even considered.
Didn’t know there was gonna be an arc 2 to be fair lol, honestly I thought it would be just a one off that would always be updating and improving so I do understand that. However I’m not mad. I’m curious to see what’s gonna come. Like you’ve said in the past – I’d rather something get delayed and things be worked on more and bugs fixed then a rushed game and we get glitches everywhere. Digimon survive is proof of that (well at least to me I think the wait was worth it). Thanks for sharing Ed!
