I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I’m not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it’s great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that’s what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

Not going to lie I’m pumped if they can deliver on all of those mechanics and what not in the new game. It really does seem like they worked on all of ARK‘s weaknesses while trying to strengthen its positives.
Really hope that translates into the actual game when it releases.
On one side, cool! On the other, bullshit. Wild Card couldn't pull this off in their dreams.

i think the third person only thing is a deal breaker for me i hate third person games especially games like ark, first person is so immersive and give a better feel to play the game. i hope they add the option for first person

Studio Wildcard has given 2023 as the release date, do you know if it will be early access or already the finished game?
I really hope that the Skill-based Combat System and Skill Tree also applies to tames – I wanted that ages ago.
That would be a massive challenge, especially if they want as many creatures as previously.
But it could be doable. Skills would have to be mostly universal or by category, with only some unique to each tame. Souls-like gameplay is mostly about slow, but powerful attacks requiring timing and careful hit box placement, not that much harder to make than the previous one. It's just a different approach to combat.
Honestly so happy they clarified more about Ark 2 I was so annoyed at the radio silence after the trailer dropped. I saw how gutted you were in the stream too man. They really need to up their game with communication. They gonna start riots if they carry on like this hahaha.
I love this take, instead of some alien species bringing a bunch of bioweapons to wipe out humanity, it's humanity that accidentally brought the most dangerous bioweapons from our world to theirs. Invasive species indeed.
Love ark but this ain't it the pve of ark is the flawed part really hopping for more pvp seems like there throwing all of what makes arks pvp out the window and making it like every other game

Honestly 3rd person only is kinda a deal killer for me with a game like ARK-
I'm excited that the creatures in ARK 2 will behave like actual creatures and have actual brains, hopefully they make it so they ain't mindlessly killing everything in sight or trapping themselves in a bunch of trees and rocks. A world of dinos is supposed to feel dangerous and while they can't see you, they should smell or hear you. It also hope that taming is more immersive like how WC was doing with all their newer creatures, like having to steal eggs or gaining their trust or giving them preferred food to tame them rather than just KOing them and shoving Kibble up their bum.
