I like to PvP, and PvE. Usually wearing an Exo Suit nowadays. Unlocking it is easy with no cheats needed anymore, and usually on a server, official or unofficial, I’m not fussed. Single Player is great though, certainly with a guide for any platform be it xbox, ps4, ps5, pc, it’s great. Sometimes play MTS, and usually post patch/update. But a survival game needs some community news and that’s what I do, giving you the latest on events, small tribes, maybe even fast flyers and primitive plus, usually covering all maps from Island to Genesis Part 2. And one day. ARK 2!

its surreal. I've been playing ark since I was 14, now I'm an adult with a job, my own apartment and everything and arks finally coming to an end.
I’m not 100% sure but the last update we probably will get the final version of primal survival or play as Dino they announced about four months ago which would be a good way to end the game with an update like that

Sad to see Ark 1 coming to a close, I’ve played it for ages now. But I hope that this year brings a lot of new things to end off on a good note, since the game, in my opinion, has gotten pretty solid over the past few months with updates. And given the stuff they’ve done over the past year and a half I think they have even more potential ideas for Ark 2. What I’d like to see
-More tlc’s. And full tlc’s. A remodel, animation update and new abilities to creatures like the pachy, paracer, bronto, terror bird, carno, megaloceros, megalodon, mosa, etc. All deserve some tlc love.
-Give the Center it’s own creature, or 3 like with the lost island. The Center seriously needs some love!
-Another community poll would be nice, even if it wasn’t for a new map it be cool to be able to vote for a new creature to come to all the maps.
-Kind of factors into the last two points but I hope they take some creature ideas from the community polls and implement them into game(by the game I mean either Ark or it’s sequel, but most likely the sequel). I’m positive creatures like the giant bison, brachi or acro will make their way into the new Ark 2 roster, but there was so much variety and so many dinos, mammals and birds to pick from. Also hoping the creature I submitted for the Fjordur vote(Harpagornis/Haasts Eagle) gets into Ark 2. And if not that, just other creatures I gave a vote to like the deinocheirus, moa or torvo. But those were just my favorites, I’d love to see anything new get in.

The patch for me was like 4-5gb i believe. It took me 4 hours to download/install it, despite having gigabit internet and an SSD. :-
I don’t have my hopes up for ark 2 they have screwed up every map since abberation so many bugs

I just started playing Ark, love the old game, I’m still sad to see it go. I haven’t seen my first 100 hours yet but it’s still hard to watch another game come out and think everyone will migrate there

Console should really get all the events to be able to be activated in the settings or let console have mods which will never happen but that would be cool

I'd assume with the limited release at first they'll be in no hurry to terminate Ark 1 servers. It'll be years before that happens.
I'm also glad to hear that model wasn't an official model. It's awful early to hear that Ark2 has cancer…
Sad that ARk 1 is coming to an end. I remember when it launched in early access. I miss it already. I guess the holiday events won't happen anymore either. Part of me wishes they just kept on going with Ark instead of making a 2.
Just because Ark is done, so to speak, games live on because of the players. How many ppl still play COD servers from 10 yrs ago or battlefield players that still play despite new version coming out? just becuz a new installment is coming doesnt meant the ARK game is dying, just a new life. Im sure there will be many that wont be able to play ARK2 for console/PC requirements, so ARK will live on, just with a new breathe. After almost 7 yrs, its time to take a breath
My only request is that they add missing stuff and fix some things that have been broken for a very long time.

Add an option checkbox to allow servers/singleplayer and non dedicated the ability to make crafting skill affect engrams.
Or a separate modifier checkbox affecting engrams only. Making crafted primitive engram weapons, armor, and saddles go over their base values. When turned on (box checked).
Add a slider so that people can modify these values and increase them if they wish, by moving the slider to the right to boost or to the left to reduce to their preferences.
This would allow people to still play and be able to make good equipment to complete boss fights etc, with loot crates turned off.

Fix the Tek ATV, and maybe update it so you can attach the minigun to it, or even the tek cannon and rocket pods like with the mek. Making it a viable combat vehicle. Attachments would be on the back making it look something similar to the halo warthog.
Maybe other interchangeable attachments like what a tek stryder has, storage attachments, scanners for finding creatures to tame etc (an upgrade to the shoulder light pet functionality) that detects creatures based on the level parameters that you input (IE: search field minimum 140, maximum 180 etc) and pings their location similar to the parasaur.

With the addition of the magmasaur and tek stryder, ankylos have been neglected and deprecated lately. We have mobile smithys with the argy, beaver, thorny dragon etc. we have a mobile mortar and pestle with the horse, the tropeo acts as a mobile grinder.
Can we please update the anky saddle to be a mobile refinery?, basically the bottom tier forge, still requiring thatch/wood/sparkpowder etc as fuel. This way we can put to use all this excess angler gel that just piles up, also considering the tek stryder and magmasaur are Genesis paid dlc exclusive. Ankys could use some love.

Singleplayer has been regularly neglected and has many broken things, floating foliage, artifact crates not spawning (The Island, Artifact of the Skylord etc).
If any dev is watching this, please I beg you to consider doing a much needed tlc pass to these things. I don't have Twitter, if someone can post this on there or anywhere that gets devs eyes often, it would be appreciated, these would be some great QOL changes.

Just started playing ark because my friends put me on to its been pretty i hope ark 2 will be as fun
When I read the patch notes it was like I was being broken up with. But we can still be friends… with benefits. Ark killed the relationship, but is stringing us along lol.
Hopefully you can get the arkaeology skins wish they were separate dinos instead tho
