  1. Im a bit disappointed so many just went with, "Just beat them". Maybe if the question was a little more complex. Like, the majority of carnos would be knock out, for obvious reasons. However, almost any herbo should be passive tame. It only makes sense.

  2. We've heard that new dinosaurs are coming to Ark 2, and since we're on a new planet, why aren't we thinking about alien creatures instead of just a new plant?

  3. Ever since our cluster began using the Immersive Taming mod, I've never wanted to tame another way unless its as a last resort. A lot of folks see it as too easy given you "just throw food and wait until they tame", but I see it as more difficult. It's not a passed out and partially protected tame. You have to maintain making sure its alive against all the other creatures there. You have to make sure it wins every fight it winds up in (or starts—friggen Shadowmanes—), and if you need to help it in a fight, you have to pray you don't hit it, otherwise your taming efforts are delayed as you now have to comfort it back to a level that it will take food from you and refrain from attacking you.

If Ark had implemented this as the default taming method, I would have probably had more fun taming on official than having to default to an alternative mod.

  4. c4 needs to cost way more. It's a joke that you can throw a couple of cheap ass c4 out and open a base up.
It's not like I don't raid, but honestly, it's too easy and cheap to do and makes pvp a joke. The bulk of pvp on ark is wait until someone goes to bed and offline raid, then stroke your dick in the chat like you're the big man.
The game needs a better model than what it had in one – or better graphics isn't gonna matter for much.

  5. Well u have crafting characters that put all in to crafting skill so why not make a new skill for passive taming. So if u want to passive tame u would need to spend a lot of levels into it. But they should have an arm out animation like Chris Pratt in the Jurassic movies.

  6. Ark 2 new non violent taming method

    Survivor: “Hey you!”

Giga: (committing a genocide on the other local fauna)

(Survivor drops rifle and tranq darts)

Survivor: “Hows your day been? Wanna go on a walk around the beach and play fetch with a tree? Have you been doing something different? Your scales look gorgeous.”

100% taming effectiveness, taming through kindness is the way to go.

  7. Why don't you make videos about things wild card needs to fix like servers instead of how good wild card is its players if being good to players is crappy servers then wild card is awsome

  8. I mean we already have non-violent ways of taming in the first Ark so it would feel weird if that wasn’t expanded upon in the second Ark. Passive taming I still think makes sense for certain Dino’s but not every Dino.. but I guess throwing out meat or kibble to a Dino could work instead of just trying to tranq it but if it was like that for every Dino then I wouldn’t even bother with the grind of tranq stuff.

  9. I mean yea, my imagination could get pretty detailed in the ways taming could be revamped. It would be really cool to tame creatures in a more involved sort of way. Doing things to calm it down, gain its trust, loyalty, etc. Various levels of in-game benefits based on familiarity. I could go on. Lol. Probably not a realistic expectation but i can dream!
